This weekend there will be an auction for a large collection of mostly US Lionel, but nearly 100 lots of Marklin 1 Gauge locos, wagons and tin plate scenery items. Well worth a look to appreciate the wonderful quality of M toys 100 years ago.

Stout Auctions (filtered by Marklin items)

Wow, some nice eye candy there.
Would love to have one or two pieces and show them on a shelf in my home.
This must've been a collector that is selling out.
Any history on the owner of these trains?
Is the Museum there to buy a few for their displays?
Walter
