I have an eCoS and several SwitchPilots and extensions, but I decided the wiring needed for driving the bi-polar Rokuhan switch machine was just too complicated. The current SwitchPilot won't drive bi-polar devices directly, so you have to use the extension and a small rat's nest of wires. Ugh.

I bought two Digitrax DS52s and had my turnouts working in just a couple of minutes. Two wires for each turnout plus two wires for track power. I'd already setup the turnouts in the eCoS so all I had to do was press the turnout button after restoring power. Address set!

I did install the non-power routing screws on the bottom side of the Rokuhan turnouts.

I'm disappointed the SwitchPilot didn't work out, but I'll save them for something else.
