Hi all, can someone tell me when the DB changed its Freight car and Passenger car id from the simple DB to DB encircled with stripes. Thanks and a very Merry Christmas to all. Sandy

Hi!

I think you refer to the so-called "DB Cookie". It was formally accepted in 1955 and appeared on some locomotives. After 1957 many vehicles received it.
