Today is International Model Railroading Day so perhaps we should all be making an effort to run some trains or do some work on our layouts.

I opened up my layout draft in Scarm, made a couple of slight changes, and imagined how it will look once I get started building it. Does that count? |

Some clubs here opened their layouts to the public, and a few dealers offered discounts, but otherwise it's more or less a day that passes unnoticed.

I've looked at my DRG sleeping carriage today and I said, damm, the interior light doesn't work properly, so I have to fix the electrical coupling and than set up a train consist with my Märklin classic BR E 1835 but hang on, I can't run trains because I've got all newspaper over a section of the layout (trying to get some roof insulation in the garage) but the video will come one day and hopefully before Christmas.

I see that Marklin have announced 20% discount on start sets bought at the Marklineum for the day. Probably cheaper to get a set from ones usual dealer though.
