Hi
I have just tried to enter my locos in to my mobile station 2 and I have run into problems with my Roco 69533 and Brawa 43011.
I have test run them sometime ago when I purchased them and they were OK.

Now I appear to have done something wrong and unfortunately neither the information with the locos or the mobile station manual help.

What is happening is that when they stand still the lights flash on and off and when you try to run them, they run in fits and starts jerking along.

Any help would be great, please beware that I am not great with programming, so the simpler the better.

Many thanks
Harry

Hi Harry,

This has happened to me before with non-Marklin locos. It is a symptom of having the DCC address set to one value and the MM address set to another (I think). Try to disable one or the other protocol on your decoder if possible. If not you need to make sure you set the address to the same value for both DCC and MM.

Try also to disable the "analog" mode (usually it's a bit of CV29)

Thank you Ray & Eroncelli
I firstly tried both locos with my new mobile station and they appeared ok, it give them both addresses starting DCC, then I reinstalled them on my regular mobile station that also give them the same address. They now run ok. I still have a problem with the lights not working on the Roco, but for the moment I will think about that one.

It all started going wrong when I tried to rename them, so at present, I will leave them alone.

I will try your advice Ray to check that both addresses are the same in MM & DCC. Eroncelli I will check that analog is disabled.

Many thanks for your advice.

Harry
