Hello, Everyone:

Well, now that the kids are about to go back to school (on Tuesday in Toronto) and the terrible heat of August is behind us (in Toronto at least, and only for a few days), the time has come to look forward to a new train season.

I have decided to re-arrange my layout quite fundamentally.

In particular, I will "invest" some money in two sections of the layout and put there really nice stations and other neat stuff, as if I were a real "stuffy" Marklin modeller, rather than the devil-may-care easy-going train player I am.

I will start with the Italian station: Stazione Termini and surroundings and then I will turn my attention to the Toronto Union Station. I already bought a nice CN Tower for this purpose.

Give me time and in due course I will show you my masterpiece. BigGrin

I am also eyeing this rail car, subject to its speed being satisfactory: REGIO RAIL CAR.

A bientot mes amis.

Silvano

Hi Silvano,

I look forward to seeing your new stations. Having some real railway features on a layout can add a lot of play value as well as looking good.

I also have my eye on that Rail-car. It seems reasonably priced and a good addition to my Era V/VI trains.

Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways
Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.
