Hi,
Just getting to grips with automated signals on my M track. Note that the lever sticks midway,so doesn't show the green light, just the red with my automated train control I'm using. If I move it manually over then the green light comes on, but not the red! Before I open the metal cover, advice re fix would be appreciated ?

Hi Chris, Just to check that we are talking about the same signal: The 7188 has a plastic-cover. That can be removed easily.  The contacts on the reverse side of the circuit (yellow) must be cleaned, and if needed, adjusted. Regards Markus

You can get a can of electrical contract cleaner at Ace Hardware or at a electrical supply store. Make sure it is non-flammable, I learned the hard and expensive way  I use a toothpick to make adjustments but only after cleaning to make sure everything is moving freely as the cleaner seems to act as a lubricant.
