Good morning fellow Z scalers!

Have we all seen the new 2016 Z scale items? There's an English language PDF on the website. This time they seem to have favoured Era 3.

Does anyone know if the Kittel railcars were run as pairs?

Not that I am aware of, there would be no advantage as you would have two steam engines to stoke.

Thanks Gary, that's a lot to look at but its always fun to look at new Marklin catalogs.
I notice that they accept PayPal now but don't ship to US and I don't see Canada there either. Must be a North America distributor issue.

Providing link (opens PDF): http://www.maerklin.de/f...6/Maerklin_NH2016_EN.pdf

I believe the biggest news is that the 36.2 diesel lok in the 81770 set says: "New generation of a powerful motor." They must be using "cans" for the first time! This is great news!

This could be bad news with respect to maintenance costs and availability of spare parts. OTOH locos might be quieter now.

Tom
