I got a CAN-digital-Bahn starter set (GleisReporter, WeichenChef, CC-Schnitte and Startpunkt) to go with my MS2 about a month ago. Now I can control layout with computer (Rocrail) and/or MS2. It all works together pretty seamlessly. Setup wasn't difficult and there's documentation in English.

yeah - but ... the lantern on the K track point seems to loose some of its motion. It looks like the are using different point motors, but judging by the signals at the end they are still solenoids, so I wonder how they are producing the slow motion. Judging by the noise from the point motors it sounds like they are doing small pulses that move the solenoid part way each time, but I do wonder about the long term reliability of this.

Hello,

the solenoids be moved by a PWM Signal. With a softwaretool you can set a user value for the PWM-Signal (Pule-Wide-Modulation) for each Output-channel. I think it is better to use AC or PWM than DC-Power. The normal Decoder use DC to Switch the turnouts. With DC the risk of remanence is greater.

Greetings,
Michael
