37526 SBB De 6/6 Seetal Krokodil is now on the list.

It has been in the Märklin iOS Catalogue App 2014 for a while a year ago, apparently in error, but was then removed.
According to the app, this is the brown 15301 OeBB museum loc with mfx and extensive sound functions.

I've had a quick look through the Z items and I can only see one that I'd want. Maybe the full cattledog will have more?

I see we are moving up in the world - there is now a Premier My World Set with two trains and two IR controllers, and the track layout available is such that there will be endless crashes and arguments that parents are going to have to adjudicate over Blushing

There was not much for the Swedish market, so it maybe some export models also Confused

I mentioned back in November about Taurus engine like Hector Rail Cool

Can it be that some Swedish stores will do their own Rc-engine like Rush Rail or Hector rail 143 when design is done.

But still nice to be able to save some pennies for this year LOL

Agree, Ray. Both look really heavy.

Not much for us up here in the North ( buhuCrying ) but still lots of candy The locos in Swiss doublepack 36332 are coming runners on my layout, that I can tell.

I guess we have to wait and see, but I think that there are more to come in the brochure we soon will get.

I happen to think it looks quite beautiful in these colours! It's a shame that DB decided to be boring and keep them in red/cream for so long.

When they did change eventually it was to the Orient red which does not really suit these graceful machines, in my opinion.

Having said that, I don't usually buy models in fantasy colours, with a couple of exceptions. I'll skip this one.

On Marklin database appears in a option "Neuheiten-prospekt 2015"
It's possible that Marklin is updating the database with NH2015 now?

I saw that earlier today. At the moment it only contains the items held over from 2014, but I'm sure it will be updated soon with the new items.

Hi all,

Personally I think the G2000 looks great. At the moment it does not appear in the Trix new items, so maybe this is AC-only. :-)
I also like the Eurofirma coaches in 1:93,5. At least it seems like it is that size. A welcome addition.

In the Trix new items there is a clip-on power pickup for coaches. Another welcome addition, my take on this would be that Märklin wants to make it easier for 2-railers to buy Märklin coaches and fit them with functions. It makes conversion a lot easier.

Someone may have answered this, but does anyone know if the class 143 is an upgraded model with center-motor, cardan shafts and LED?

All in all, for now, it seems like I can concentrate on digital stuff this year, and not so much on aquiring new rolling stock. I actually feel kind of relaxed, at least my wallet does. Smile

I like the Eurofima model description with the special attention zoom-in shot paid to the doors and then the doors are not properly painted to match the rest of the coach.

I immediately noticed the incorrect inscriptions on the restaurant coach and sent off an email to Maerklin. Hopefully one of the insiders who has access to the product manager will also address this issue with their contacts. The restaurant coach should not have the Swiss crest, but only the markings SBB and CFF, as seen here: http://www.reisezugwagen...loads/LS_47219-1_WRm.jpg

Maerklin should know this, having already produced a model (4068) for many years.

I recently bought a HectorRail from Piko expert range and I am very happy with that one but since this Märklin has MFX+ , and cars to go with it, I will go for this one too. I have not got a loco with MFX+ yet so I am looking forward to try it. And that "Pure performance" train is also something to throw up some pennies for.

Yes, we can hope that there will be some "special edition" from some of our Swedish stores. My guess is that there will be another Rc and maybe some cars.

Hi
Just looked at the 2015 new items im more interested in modern era and i agree with alot of people that the G2000 Looks well
Im happy to see the DB Regio Double Deckers comming with interior lighting fitted as standard 43570 and 43571.
Dont know why the Taurus Locos 39844 and 39845 doesnt come with an MFX plus decoder when 39842 does.
Dont really see the point of a working wiper on the TGV Model ref 37796 opening carriage doors would amaze me more like Roco had but i know cost is the issue its one model i could never like looks to plastic for me.
Thought there might be an ICE 1 with an MFX plus decoder maybe next year.

Not much discount over RRP though - 10% off H0 items (at least the ones I checked) and nothing off G1 items.

A real incentive not to buy anything this year! (not that there is anything much that interests me.)

Yes that is indeed true Ray. This year there are items which takes my fancy. It would have been a lot easier to make decisions if I knew I was getting decent five pole motors inside the locos.

The restaurant coach should not have the Swiss crest, but only the markings SBB and CFF, as seen here: http://www.reisezugwagen...loads/LS_47219-1_WRm.jpg

Maerklin should know this, having already produced a model (4068) for many years.

Regards

Mike C

Mike,

These are tinplate coaches, having an incorrect length scale wise.
The charm of these coaches is that they are a bit toy like by nature.
The older Crocs produced by Marklin did not look like the prototype either.
Probably,M also wish to show the difference with the original production.
The reproduced locomotives such as the V200 have funny markings which were not on the original production, compare 3021 with 30210.
I think this is a guesture towards collectors to show the difference between production runs.

Walter,

Some say that the 5 part double-deck coach set was never pulled that way by the loco in question.

Hey,but who cares?

Paul.

It seems it did pull something that looks like it. BigGrin

Dutch State Railways (NS) bi-level commuter train, consisting of a class 1700 electric locomotive, road number 1714, with the city coat-of-arms "Veenendaal", 1 type DDM2/3-ABv bi-level intermediate car, 1st/2nd class, 2 type DDM2/3-Bv bi-level intermediate cars, 2nd class, and 1 type DDM2/3-Bvk bi-level cab control car, 2nd class.

I think in their enthusiasm, Marklin put one to many coaches in the picture. Woot

LOL! Laugh

I was wondering: The NS E186 model is delivered with warm-white LEDs. I have noticed that the Dutch trains actually often have yellow headlights. Is this true for the prototype of the E186 as well or is it okay to fit it with warm white LEDs?

Not much discount over RRP though - 10% off H0 items (at least the ones I checked) and nothing off G1 items.

A real incentive not to buy anything this year! (not that there is anything much that interests me.)

As you know, I look at the Trix part of the new items. I am generally happy about the new items. Smile

I don't know what to think about the Nohabs being so called "new items" when they are not.
The Starlight Express class 101 is also in the new items brochure. Really!? That was the summer of 2013, it even had a special brochure back then. It is okay to give it some attention, but please do not think for a second that people believe this to be a new item. A bit of a cheap move...

- I think it nice to see a digital start set aimed at the modern era. It is a great set for a person who wants to start a modern layout with a Mobile Station 2. I might actually get that set, because I like bringing home big boxes and opening them up. I don't know why. Smile
- I also like the fact that all the old "Hobby"-models now seem to have warm white LEDs and be able to turn off the red taillights. A big thumbs up from me! Smile
- Loads of era V and VI freight wagons in both brochures! I do not need any of them, but I know myself well enough to have forgotten about that when they arrive at the shop... *ehrrm* Blushing
- The G2000 is not in the Trix new items brochure, but it is in the new items. Product numbers are 22920 (Railion) and 22921 (Belgium). What a bummer to leave that out, I guess marketing was in a hurry.
- Love the Eurofirma coaches as already mentioned. Now, bring modern era InterCity sets to the table.

Unfortunately no C-track news, although I was hoping, I never really believed it myself. There is always hope, so the hope will live on. Smile

All in all, I like the new items and I can't wait to see how they made that screen wiper work on the TGV.

Ah, nope, I'm right (at least where the G1 items are concerned).

The prices shown when logged in are the VAT exclusive prices (since I'm outside of the EU). But, they're still the full RRP price......

For example, 55753 G1 BR75 is shown as 1596.60 EUR when logged in, multiply that by 1.19 (to add the 19% VAT) comes out at 1899.95, which is the full RRP for this item - i.e. no discount.

Pg121 shows the the images of components of 29484 as including a CS2. This is incorrect - the set includes a MS2

I've made my decision and pre-ordered just these for now from Lokshop:

37015 S 2/6
37200 Railion G2000
46803 Era I coal hopper set

The S 2/6 is available now so shouldn't have to wait too long for that one!

I will wait and possibly buy, when they appear,

One of the two 36332 SBB Ee3/3
A G5/5 or Br57
The CFL cargo loco from the 29351 set
Ray
Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways
Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.
