Hi guys , I have a chance to buy a CCS 800 croc made in the end part of 1956. which the seller says that according to Kols Marklin had solved the zinc problem. Seller says he tested it and both motors work in both directions From the pictures I was sent it looks fine with a good box including wood insert. The seller bought it from a d. Thanks guys and take care Eddie ealer in Georgia USA in 2013 and only thing is the paint has crazed from the hot sunshine in Georgia. Did Marklin fix the zinc rot problem by the end of 56 or is the guy just bs ing me. If all is kosher what would be a realistic price to pay Thanks guys and take care Eddie .
