well today I travelled to the south and met up with Dan and his excellently detailed French outline layout. I have done a separate report on the show under the title of Rushden MRR show.

Ian, we would really like to be there - it's great meeting other Marklin folks and just chatting away and running trains.Cool
Cape Town folks met last weekend, and we visited 2 layouts in progress / construction.

all the best for saturday have a great time and trust it goes really well
we meet this friday night to put 7 to 10 modules together
in a church hall the local guys are really getting quite
excited about module building, this will be our second time
at this, also the wgtn club meets friday night to they had 25
last month and we had about 20, so marklin clubs are building
so all the best from your kiwi cousins i will try and get some photos

PS the first holiday with the trailer tent was somewhat - shall we say - damp.ThumbDown

Hopefully the one starting Sunday will be drier. Once we get to Calais the intention is to drive towards the sunThumpUp, be that the French Med, Spain or Italy.
