Hello Everyone. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find scanned copies of Marklin H0 track plan booklets ? 3-Rail track vintage. I am trying to plan a layout on one side of my room in the limited space available. Regards Neil.

Hi Neil,
Looking forward to seeing progress on your new layout.
Over this last year I've been collecting 1950's solid center rail track, and also 1935 to 1939 "16" sleeper track for a modest layout I'll be starting towards the end of this year.
Ian.

Hi Ian. Good luck on your layout, where did you source most of your "early" track to date ? , will you have room for a turntable on your layout ? Do you find that early electric motor 3600 points are still working ok or do they need repairing ? Regards Neil. |

Hi Neil, If you have a look over on Me and my Layout...Ian555 Münstertal you can see all the track I've bought over the last year. The only change that has been made from those plans is where the layout is being built, but that's another story. Nearly all the track was bought on e-bay both here and from Germany. Ian.

Rob, Some of the rail software sites (Anyrail, etc) have downloadable track plans developed by users of the software. There are some at Layoutdepot (link)I think the orignal LCTM site linked will work for M and K as well. From the LCTM site linked above: For C Track: 0320, but uses old part numbers 0321, but mostly "simple" layouts 0330 0350 0351 0700, the most modern style layouts here For K track: 0700, the most modern style layouts are here I think some of the later books (higher numbers) have more complex track plans that may be more interesting as the hobby probably became increasingly "adult oriented." Most of the layouts appearing in "M" track can be adapted for K track (or C). Others may have more insight. |
