I was having a look at this yesterday. A lot prettier, and easier to navigate.

It recognizes language automatically, even if the Italian is a bit too "literal". |

Hi guys. When you deal with Lokshop, what is your preferred way of payment I have been told that Mastercard, etc. (if accepted) is the safest way to buy on the Internet. I have also heard about PayPal. Do you use that if available . |

Hi Benny. If you have Matercard then that is the way to go. Good dealers will accept all credit cards and therefore no need for Paypal. Lokshop add an extra 4% for credit card payments which I do not like. They will pay a smaller amount to the card company than 4% and as I do not visit their shop then this reduces their costs as they do not spend any time with me when purchasing. Good service though.

There is no need for that, I have charge my credit card free of charge but export 4% shipped outside Germany. |

The 4% is charged because you are paying by credit card. If you pay direct to their bankers you get a 3% discount. They charge the full costs to deliver outside Germany so there is no need for an extra charge which they even add to the postal costs which we have already paid in full. Kramm do not make this charge although their prices are about 4% higher anyway but at least they are up front without any extras being added.
Lokshop are very good but their pricing looks better than it really is.

DAvid, I agree. that 4% is a trap in pricing. I have found, (By only looking at Prices not buying) that Modellbahnen Walter Licht GmbH are very good at pricing. ON a lot of items less than lokshop and on another group almost same price as lokshop, which means to me 4% less. No additional CC Charge. Web Site: http://www.modellbahnen-...1&c=&s=199438893 |

Nev. I have dealt with Walter Licht but found the service not as good as Lokshop. They are a bit cheaper but do not hold much in stock and the website does not indicate stock items. Lokshop are good at keeping us uptodate with our orders which I find useful and maybe worth the extra. Roland at lokshop is good to deal with and his English is probably better than mine !!
