The seller mentioned on the site has a shop in Herne Germany.I occasionally buy from him at the Houten swap meet here in Holland where he's also doing business.
From what I seem to understand what's being said by a dealer here in Holland is that dealers can also buy directly from Märklin.
So maybe that's why you see these new items turn up so quickly on e-bay.

Kind regards
Guus

Thanks guys. Interesting info. I had just wondered why shops like Kramm amd Lokshop etc who seem to be fairly large dealers are further down the delivery chain.

I like the look of the 37849 BR50, which according to the list Steven posted should be available this month.

Does anyone know if Marklin are continuing with the 50 year birthday version of the BR50 (mine would be 50-1960)?

Also the 37571 E03 looks to be a good model for us E03 fans!

<br />Hi Stephen. Now on green light at M so I have placed my order with Lokshop today. I would have thought however that German dealers would have had it in stock before ebay sellers. I wonder where these folk on ebay get their supplies.

Has anyone else ordered the 26540 Rheinphfeil set and do we think it will actually be delivered in December?

The Rheinpfeil Set is still announced for this month. So far, the Diner and Panorama coaches are available in the blue/beige 1962 livery. It should not be too much work to produce a series of coaches in the red/beige TEE livery.

Is this set made in DE or is it made in China? If it is from China, it will be a tight squeeze to get it to Germany, finish the packaging and get it out to dealers with 21 days to go. There is a possibility that the shipment or parts of the shipment may already be in transit to Germany.

If the components are already in Germany, they should be able to get it on the market quickly enough (but not for overseas customers).

Regards

Mike C

Got mine already; amongst some more items that were delivered to my dealer last week. It's another little masterpiece and perfect match to the Helvetia/Rheingold sets and Insider 103. [:p]
