Hi all,

I've been very surprised that the delayed items from July have been released just some hours after the month had ended... that's what I call 'forecast' biggrin

Well, I can see that the new ICE-2 36711 is already available on Ebay. As my birthday is on September perhaps I may have someone buy it for me as a gift [:I]

Please, can someone give us a detailed review, as there are some little things I still don't match in its description (the 2 powered axles vs. 4 in the previous 29790 model with cardans, and the fact that the driving coach doesn't seem to have a slider but it's supposed to have directional front lights) confused

At least I'll have to order some spare parts from previous ICEs to make white LEDs interior lighting, as Lutz already posted some time ago (once again, thank you very much Lutz!!!)

Kind regards.

Lokshop in English: http://www.lokshop.de/e_default.htm
The German page is more up-to-date with new releases.

Lokshop's prices are generally excellent, but the minimum postage to Australia is €23, plus €3.10 per kilogram!
So if you're buying a high price item (like an expensive loco) or you can consolidate a large order, Lokshop can be good value.

One thing to remember though, is that if you buy a loco (or any item) from Lokshop, they are the "dealer" you must return it to if you need warranty service -- as I understand it, the local dealer is not obliged to accept it as a warranty return. This is something to consider.
When you initially order, your shopping basket will show prices including EU/German Sales Tax, but that will be corrected when you get to the checkout and enter your country.
Cheers,
Damon

I can confirm that some of the Insider 05 39050 have been delivered in Australia by Nathans Trains.
However, it is strictly according to date of order, so they are received chronologically.
My unit will be a few months yet. I was not in the first batch of orders.

I watched it and saw the message to look at the Märklin site.

I think the time he needs to update the list everytime, takes to much time, more then he has.

Both Märklin and TRIX delivery lists are updated as of October.
The TRIX list can be found here:

FC Märklin package has been sent out with a coupon for the fire truck too.

Steven,

I know, but if you read my message again you too should recognize that I posted (on purpose) only the link to the TRIX delivery list. I'm surely not the only one interested as well in TRIX models, especially cars due to their excellent compatibility with Märklin models (just think about the upcoming Rheinpfeil train). wink

It might as well be of interest to know that the fire car will be also available to FC Märklin members, another very important group of customers within the Märklin club; especially when looking ahead. Smile

Edit: Typo - should be "Rheinpfeil" (cars matching to the corresponding Märklin Rheinpfeil set #26540).

Do you mean the Trix 23421 to 23425 cars for Rheinpfeil, about 1971?

There is three on ebay but price cost about 230 EURO plus postage.

You can order with lokshop for around 220 Euros (Price included postage + 4% export), but not in stock yet until next week or two.

Hi Stephen. Thanks for info. Surprised that available on Ebay but not in stock at Marklin. Could it be that the ebay sellers are just taking advance orders.

David

Hi Stephen. Now on green light at M so I have placed my order with Lokshop today. I would have thought however that German dealers would have had it in stock before ebay sellers. I wonder where these folk on ebay get their supplies.

David: Since item is brand new - only possible source is M itself.
Also - both are registered at ebay as business sellers = dealers wink
