I'm seeking some help in understanding what is real and what is not in terms of Maerklin production and shipping schedules.
Perhaps it is just me, but I'm finding what appear to be significant variances from the production schedules on maerklin.de and the traffic light colors assigned in the on-line shop.
For example, the great Norweigan NOHAB 37662 (yellow with due snow plows) is due out in Germany targeted September. However, currently the On-Line Shop website gives it a "red/green"?
Is Maerklin indicating an early release do you think or is this standard operating proceduce?
Thanks!

Larry - don't know what you're talking about!
Traffic light is red/YELLOW and the text indicates correct: "Neuheit. Werksseitig noch nicht verfügbar" (i.e. new item, not yet available).
A red/green traffic light is a) nowhere on the Märklin website explained nor b) would it make much sense.

Sent you my reply. No, why? Traffic light is yellow which should be clear.
I'd like to point you to another model from the TRIX HO offerings which has as well been delivered now and which might be interesting to some members here.

Hi Steven,
Ref 29840 Mega start set.
I am interested to find out the locomotive numbers (55..., 85....) that will be used in this set?
On the Marklin.de catalogue it appears that one is 55 5415. Is that correct?
Is it possible to find the 85 class number?
regards
Kimball

55 5415 was correct and it is 85 010.
Both have digital sounds functions.

Dear Steven,
Thanks for that.
I have ordered one set from my Marklin dealer in Australia.
Looking forward to later this year.
[:I] I will then increase my M steam locomotive line-up by a whopping 200%.

I see June has come and gone and still no 39562. Yet another promise unkept. If I ran my business that way I would be out of a job.
On the other hand, I would rather have my krok made right than made fast, so I will wait.

Good point Ron. But for what we pay it should be made right and delivered on time.
If I was only paying a few Euros for a toy train it would not matter but more has always been expected of Marklin.
David
PS nice to see the list back Stephen
Take care I like Marklin and will defend the worlds greatest model rail manufacturer.

look at Co'Co' electric
It is 37121,not the 39121.
The 39121 was Bo'Bo' Electric class E10 Blue/cream livery for the "Rheingold".

Perhaps this has been covered above, but Maerklin 47453 (Swiss Federal Railways' deep well flat cars loaded with Hangartner, 3 cars) are in Stuttgart and Chur, Switzerland stores for sale. However, it is labeled as "yellow" on the maerklin.de site.
