Has anyone used any 20 or 40 foot containers from Walthers on their marklin wagons? Like the ones here:

I've had some trouble with some american manufacturer's containers fitting properly in my Marklin stuff. Just hoping someone has experience with them before I buy.

Hello Justin,

I have used Walthers 20' containers on Märklin "Kangaroo" cars. They are attached to the cars with small dual-face photo tape cuts. No problem at all and tapes are not visible.

The container car is visible on the next picture of my last Christmas Carpet Layout :

Hi Justin,

I have a few container wagons that came with containers. On the bottom of the containers all four corners have a little plastic point which fits nicely into the L shaped fiddly-bits that you put on the wagon. If any one finds a source for these that would be great, apparently Marklin do not even sell the containers as spare parts [:(], yet they have made many of these containers.

And if I get a lot then I have to make a real layout that is complete with the Heljan container crane.

I have bought two set of the spanish Electrotren, 8x20 and 4x40,they fit perfectly on the Cargo Sprinter and on the kangaroo wagons.
