I am interesting in 26536 CL44 with 10 hoppers,37039 CL38,39180 BR 218 and 39500 E50.[:p]

And dozens of rolling stock.

What about your interesting in new marklin 2007?

There are a lot of nice things comming this year, but the things that I like the most are the BR 05 and of course the BR 45 and GG1.
I also agree with you Steven. The BR 44 with the hoppers looks also realy nice...

A little light year for me at this point in time.

But those little extras might be interesting.

What is going to be the weathered locomotive this year ??? Maybe BR45 ??

I hope that they will come with a weatherd PA-1 or a GG1. All the weatherd models where steam engines. So it would be nice if there will be a weathers diesel or electric loco.

Last years was a weathered "Flying Hamburger" so that was diesel railcar. The CBE BR 45 will be a limited run item (I hope) thus there might be a market for extra production from the casting process. The weathered are limited also, therefore it would make sense.

The catenary maintenance railbus for me. I'm bort 1957, and need a 1'E, but as the model doesn't seem to have a ESU sound, I'll skip it.

I think it's again such a great year and I really don't know yet what I will all still like to have (the RAe set and PBA cars were already ordered by my dealer during the last visit of the Märklin rep.). Smile

Rheingold (both locos + cars), BR05, E50 and BR189 are "must have". Same for SBB Taschenwagen and some of the new constructed goods waggons.
Württ. C (BR18.1), "Langer Heinrich" + cars, one or even both crocs wink
and maybe the DSB Litra T (to complement my Litra N) are "optional".

I'm still working on my list from last year....etc, etc....
But added to it are the following for this year:

26218 Regional Express set
47002 DB
37361 SBB Ae 6/6
47453 SBB 3 car set
SmileSmile

39562 - 39590, are both just a dream at this point. No hope really but still on my list. [:I]

Hi Steven!

I happen to think the 2007 list is pretty good, except for the usual absence of new US stock. Love some of the European passenger wagons.

The V60 Telex shunter (37655) will join my little fleet, and for sure, the 39402 SNCB TEE (Bruxelles/Paris) and matching 39402 wagon set. I took that train often in the early 70's - a real bit of nostalgia for me.

Märklins new items list for 2007 is so full off very nice items that it's a bit hard for me to make a choice.

The TEE Gottardo 39540 and the Ae 8/14 39590 are high on my wishlist.

If I were a rich man (with a *big* layout):

The long Heinrich with the additional BR44 and the additional hopper car set [:p][:p][:p][:p][:p]

More realistically I like the crane to go with the Fire brigade train.

The Mercedes -8 car set is also nice.

The Norwegian Di3 is too inaccurate.

But to be honest I have come to a point where I feel that I have enougfh Märklin trains. The only thing I really want is some secondhand Minex trains to play with on the floor.

Hi all

I will for sure get:
1) Gothardt TEE RAe (already ordered at my dealer's)
2) E-50
3) E-10.12 (I won't waste my money on the Märklin curtailed coaches that come with it; The ROCO ones at the correct 1:87 scale, 303 mm, prove to be an overall better investment).
4) French version of the INOX TEE train
5) BR-05 (insider model)

It's no use investing in either crocodile (C6 6/8III), as unfortunately, no improvement whatsoever has been done to the tooling. The same goes for the BR-44's, the BR-52 and the poorly-detailed BR-003's.

Regards,
Armando

Given my currently growing layout, I will continue directing my train budget to layout related stuff, which means no rolling stock for 2007 [V].

The only exception I will allow will be the BR05.

Just for the 5 Faller roundhoses, about 400 euros are now gone [xx(]...

I am very interested in the new blue swedish Rc-loco. The mfx decoder with sound is very tempting, although my preferred era is a bit earlier than this livery. Passenger coaches for this loco will also be available. Already owning two of these locos in earlier liveries - I'm still wondering if I need one more. The other swedish electric loco - the shunter Ue - is just a newer version of the Ub shunter that I already own.

I'm saving my loco purchasing money for the Roco Da electric loco this year... This charming old electric loco is the little brother of the Dm 3-piece electric iron ore puller and was previously made by Märklin as model 3030. Roco will put a sound decoder in this one - and I have seen the Dm in action, it looks very promising.
Roco use working traction rods in these models, just like the prototype.

well, my disappointments first :
class 64 not announced , the new mega starterset with class 55 and 85 contains among other a beer-waggon (not really a hit for a non-collector 'pure' modelrailroader, who likes the beer in bottles well chilled but no plastic more or less 'fantasy' waggons. the last one : 00759 and 00760 (boxes with 24 waggons each) not exactly defined what will be in there.
now the better news : class 44 (coal & oil) both in ep.III without the f... computernumbers on it , 27 different hopper cars (10 from the set with the cl 44,5 separate pack and the 12-pack from TRIX 24202, and the paper say : M axles included, i nearly can't believe...)
but i must wait until the real prices are published, at lokshop they are still at 0,01 euro......
and although i do not run any american/canadian item, i can imagine the disappointment on your side.....
best wishes to you all around the world

Well fellows, I've had confirmation that for the next 2 years, I'll be 1 month in Rio de Janeiro Cool working and 1 month back home, working on different projects.

This means that layout work will mostly stop during these 2 years [:(][V][xx(].

The bright side is that is that my train budget has got released from track, switches and other like stuff and can be redirected to rolling stock [:I].

Here's what I ordered from my dealer:

1 Trix 24352-Druckgaskesselwagenset, DB, Ep. III
1 Märklin 39050-Dampflokomotive BR 05, DB, Ep. III
1 Märklin 37039-Dampflokomotive BR 38, DRG, Ep. II
1 Brawa 40009-Dampflokomotive BR 75.0 DRG, II, AC-DigitalPremium
1 Märklin 39500-Elektrolokomotive BR E 50, DB, Ep. III
1 Märklin 46450-Druckgaskesselwagen VTG, DB, Ep. III
1 Brawa 48203-Gedeckter Güterwagen G10 DB, III
1 Brawa 48205-Gedeckter Güterwagen G10 DB, III, [3er-Set)
1 Brawa 48206-Gedeckter Güterwagen G DRG, II
1 Brawa 48208-Gedeckter Güterwagen Gu DRG, II
1 Brawa 48350-Güterzugpackwagen Pwgi Pr 99 DRG, II
1 Brawa 40151-Dampflokomotive BR 57.4 DRG, II, AC-DigitalPremium
1 Märklin 39180-Diesellokomotive BR 218, mit Sound, DB, Ep. IV

I resisted the TEE thing, since I have plenty of those (beautiful!) colours already...

The list for this year is too long, but the top places are taken by the 37452 (Berlingrodt steamer), 39121, 37902 and some passenger cars to go with the 39121.
DRG, DB and SBB
Era II, III and IV
Sincerely,
Sebastian
