Ulf, the only consideraton might be the top clearance on the entrances to the engine stalls. K Track would probably be OK, but C & M may cause a problem.

this roundhouse might require some modifications to the doors, maybe it would be as simple as distance building is placed from marklin turntable.
the walthers is set up for 10 degree spacing/separation of track, while marklin turntable is 15 or 7.5 degree.

I'm afraid the degree issue might be a problem. Also I'm on c-track. I'll have to think about this one for awhile...

Has anyone built it and used it on a Marklin layout. with our without a turntable?

Hello Ulf,
I have just bought two of them for my future North American permanent layout which will use mostly K-tracks. They will be assembled as a 6 stall roundhouse close to Walthers # 933-3171 turntable that I am currently modifying to be Märklin compatible.
An option for C and M-track users : raise the roundhouse to have the lower end of the building at the same level as the top of track ballast. You will get then about 1 cm more clearance and I think that it will look more realistic.
Pierre.

Please keep us(me) posted on progress. I'm looking at that combo. But not sure if it'll work.

Be sure that I will do it. But I should probably not start with this project prior January.
Pierre.
