		Ray Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

Marius Great Idea, e.g. every 30 working hours or so and than, as your loco runs on your layout without any problem, it stops, you'll get an anouncement on your CSII: Your loco needs maintenance now. Please remove loco from track.

If the item type = locomotive, then we can have a usage log that tracks time since the last service.. Unfortunately, FD has forced me to have two glasses of Shiraz, so it does not look like I can do any coding tonight.. I shouldn't even be on the forum - she thinks that I have gone downstairs to find some more wine... Giggle...

Appears to have worked for many years now as I have had no problems. Locos run on a regular basis do not need much attention but those that are rarely run should be checked for dry oil etc.

It would be easy enough to keep track if there were proper hooks in the code. Of course it could be burdensome if there are lots of places where you stop and start trains in the code. Miss one and you have a train that looks like it has been running for years...

I already received the new one (i think), it works very nice but the box didn't look as neat as the previous one....anyway, the loco looks nice and it works. So she has been running for the past 13 hours, that's my new record running a loco. It's like a trip from Paris to Madrid
