Gents sorry for the basic query here but got down the original Box from the cupboard with the engine and goods wagons and I have nil information on identification as to these units model numbers. Are these numbers on the frame some where? I also have an old tank engine and again unsure of the model and if I can get a new funnel or top for this as was damaged according to my father 28yrs back when the unit fell off the track layout onto the floor etc I have the old green caboose and red one somewhere which I will dig up as starting to account for tracks and what is required for purchase for the layout. I have posted some pictures below and if you guys can help this will be greatly appreciated original box Opened box Unknown Loco Model Number, i know she has smoke unit in it as remember ol smokey going around Unknown jamica good van model with rear light Another View of Jamica goods van Unknown Esso tank model Unknown model number on the Damaged Tank engine. Still runs smoothly ;) Cheers Dale

Hi Dale, this is the 3203 starter set, version from 1972 onwards, as earlier versions had a different tank wagon. The set is composed of a 3003 Br24 Steam engine, 4509 banana wagon, 4503 low-side wagon, and 4501 Esso tanker.
I have no idea about the green tank engine. As far as I know this is not made by Marklin. Certainly the 2-4-0 chassis is unknown to me. |
Ray
Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

Ray you are a genius sir I have been searching as now not marklin and found the blighter. I found the old container with the model but my chances are slim for a new funnel. One was on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.fr/H125-...BOITE-/360258291486nnel. Unsure whether to keep it or sell as is now as not a marklin model so to speak. Thanks again sir

Hi Dale.
As you indicate in your post, you have already found out that the green steam engine is from the Spanish firm Electrotren.
It could come in black and a green version in both DC and AC power. The green version that you have had catalog number 4002
But as you probably also have found out it is no longer in production. |
Philip.
Let's keep it simple. MFDWPL |

It change to ARAL tank wagon in the 3203 starter set from 1976. The tail light with pick up shoe don't included wit 3203 set. Have a look at catalogue of 3203. 1969 1973 1976 1978 |
