Great shots again, Steven. I have that Banana freight car too. I believe it is one of Maerklin's original freight cars when they started up again in the late '40s/early '50s, only with different style of coupler. Cheers, Peter

From today, I will removed high value/hard to find marklin items on my site will be removed or more for better security.

I have contact the model railway insurance but I am told it will cover only in UK mainland and not cover part of UK.ThumbDown

You mean to say, your more expensive Märklin items can not be insured under UK insurance covers.

Ian & John.

The Model railway Insurance by Magnet said It will cover collector/layout only in UK mainland but not Northern Ireland.

The Insurace broke told me it will not show to public otherwise it could be theif.

Stephen,

The reason they will not insure your Märklin items because you show them on the internet, therefore they could be stolen or is seen as an invitation to steal your Märklin items.

Is this why most of the members don't show where they are living or identifying themselves with their real name in case they get kidnapped.

So what's happening, when someone says: Its getting late now and I'm going to bed and I'll see you all tomorrow but I'' have a drink before that and than I'm going to turn the TV off.
Does this mean I can't get household insurance because I've revealed, I've got a fridge, a tv and a bed at my home ?

Get another insurance broker,

John
