Hello forum
I am relatively new to digital, and have had an intellibox II for a year now.

now the NeXT step is to use the 63410 switch module from uhlenbrock for switching turnouts and signaling.

i manage to make the switching module to switch tracks in a test environment with a separate trafo, but when i connect the switch track to the rest of the track, it becomes unstable. seems like it only Works every 20 second or so.
When I separate the switch track again from the rest of the tracks, it becomes stable again. I suspect it has something to do with the power cable wireing…?

i have two transformers:
one for the IB II and for the track control and power
one for the loconet switch module (63410)

the setup is similar to this: topic

i have tried to level the two transformers in different ways, but it doesn't really stabilize the switching of the turnouts.

can anyone tell me how to wire up the power, for the loconet switch module (63410) and my IB II with the transformers ???

thanks in advance!!

Update:
Maybe it is not the wireing.

if i remove the light bulbs from the turnout, then it works fine.

but a turnout without light seems to me as a tempary workaround.

how do i get light and a stable switch function.

using 2 pcs. of 70VA transformers

What track system are you using (M, K, C)?

The problem is probably that the power return for the light is connected to one of the rails and you need to separate that and connect it to the return of the switching unit decoder. Someone will have instructions if you tell us what track system you have.

Using M tracks.
Ok. so all lights has to be separated from the track?
is that common to do. it requires aditional wireing?
i was considering replacing bulbs with LED's to reduce power consumption from 60 mA to 15 mA, or would that not help??
