a while back I bought a dismantled marklin layout on line
two big boxes arrived all 1950s stuff and I was quite happy with it

this morning 2 more boxes arrived with a note saying they forgot the to send the houses

ive been unpacking for an hour but ive had to stop as ive nowhere to put them
I will put a couple of pics on someone might know who makes them (value immaterial)

I think that foot bridge in the first photo is an Airfix, judging by the advertising hoarding on it.

First thing to check is underneath - Faller for example always put the name and the kit number on the baseplate and some others do also.

Once you have identified the obvious ones they can be set aside. Then post up pics of the remainder of unknowns and we'll nail them down.

Nice score :-)

The green crane is the Airfix/Dapol kit. I have one like it on my layout.

thank you alan steve ray and marco for taking the trouble to reply

ray the crane is broken as you can see

marco that helps a lot
ive never taken much interest in faller but I must admit some are really nice
but there is no room on my 8 x 4 diorama for them so they will have to be stored till I find a use for them

ive unpacked a few more so I will put some very poor pics on they may be of interest

thank you

I bought a huge dismantled layout last week at auction
it had been shipped from Wanaka in new Zealand

heres a poor picture of the faller items
looks like I am becoming a faller hoarder as well

the three boxes at the back are still sealed and will remain so
