I am quite intrigued by Mikael's post on the Viessmann turnout motor 4558. he reports a quiet, slow operation of the motor, but a little bit of difficulty in getting the decoder to fit properly under the C track.
Price wise its a lot cheaper than the Viessmann 4554: 4554=34 Euro, and 4558=23 Euro (prices at Modellbahnshop-lippe without VAT).
I am sorely tempted to try them, as I have heard good reliability reports of the Viessmann motors - has anyone heard anything to the contrary?? And how they would operate with the MS2? (changing the turnout numbers/decoder numbers via a MS2?)....
Thanks, Joe
