Hi all,

I am back seeking further assistance.

I recently bought a Marklin Roter Pfeil (Delta version) in non original box. The decoder is not functioning and in need of replacement. I know there is a range of decoders available that will solve my problem but I would like to replace the old decoder board with an original decoder board. does anyone have any suggestion as to where I can source one. I have done a trawl of the net but without success.

Thank you for taking the time to read this posting

Hello John,

Sorry but I just saw this post.

Have you tried to email the Marklin service centre? They are usually very helpful with this kind of enquiry.

The spare parts database on the Marklin website will tell you what the part number is for your board, though it is unlikely to still be available from Marklin. It is also possible that the decoder board from a more recent version of the "Red Arrow" will fit in yours, in which case you get a better decoder.

Hi all,

I see that there was no posting here since 2015. I hope that there are still Roter Pfeil users around. I've just got a beauty Roter Pfeil (37865) on eBay. I use Central Station 3 and having problem with setting up. While 37385 is in the data base, I have to set the parameters manually and I can't find anywhere what the address number would be. Sent e-mail with the question to Märklin, unfortunately no one bothered to reply. That much about customer service there. I wonder if someone would have any idea about 37865 and CS 3?

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Usually the digital "arrows" came with address "24" from the factory.

Back in the day I did this to my #3125:

I also have the #33865 also converted to Digital with ESU V3.0 sound decoder in same manner.
Both are a bit noisy when in action without the sound applied.

Marklin #37865 has address 24. See above PDF.

Thank you for the help guys, it works now, I've tried the setting as DCC while it was MM. Only the whistle is not working but I'll try to get it fixed too.
