Excellent find!
Thank you so much.
Refreshing all the memories from my own youth and my many "photo trains chases" in Germany in the 60's and early 70's!
But I did not have a VW as personal transportation like Mr. Budde, just a moped!

Yes thanks Ake, I had a link to the site in my "old" favourites that doesn't work anymore so a great find ThumpUp

I think I would have got the old link from the B&G Jacques ?!

Yeah, I think I had seen it before , but then sort of "lost" it.
It acted as a "prompter" for me in the last couple of weeks: I have put some older locos on the layout (BR 44 3047, BR 50 Kab, BR 23 3005, BR E50 ,etc) in front of those lovely picturesque and interminable mixed freight trains
that were so common in the "Wirtschaftswunder" years in Germany.

God! when I was chasing them in the late 50's and 60's I only had 40% of my today's body weight (Scared Scared ) and running my bicycle for a 100 miles a day, every day was not a problem.

Now I have to keep the trains running around me! Laugh and even turning my head hurts! Smile

Cheers and many thanks again Ake!

Looks like a case of how many different coaches can you have in one train ... Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh

back to the 'run what you want, there will be a prototype somewhere' ... Laugh Laugh Laugh
