Today, I saw a photo of the new SBB Re 4/4II TEE on the roco.cc website: http://www.roco.cc/en/pr...0-0-002002/products.html
I was rather disappointed to see that Roco has released the model with a Revision date of 3.2.78. The earlier 72400/72401/78400/78401 also had a revision date for 1978. It would be nice if Roco were to release a model of this TEE loco that corresponded with the era of the Trans Europ Express (1969-1978).

The first batch of TEE locos were delivered in the red and beige livery in 1969 and were used to pull the TEE "Roland", TEE "Helvetia" and TEE "Arbalete". The second batch followed in 1972 and were used for the TEE "Lemano" and TEE "Cisalpin". Most of these locomotives were repainted in either green or red in the early 1980s, leaving only one or two in TEE colours for a while longer.

Loco 11160 was repainted green in 1981, which leaves a limited period of prototypical use between 1978 and 1981 in TEE colours. The TEE "Roland" ran from June 1969 to May 1979. The TEE "Helvetia" ran with Re 4/4II TEE from 1971 to 1979, together with the TEE "Arbalete" between Zurich and Basel for a few of those years.

I was looking forward to this model, especially as I had specifically requested the 11160 but am trying to decide if this revision date is a deal killer.
