Märklin E94 004 - #39221 in slow motion - with loco pipe sound

The loco is running with 1,7mm/s or 0,54km/h in 1:1 scale!

Great loco with C-Sinus motor. I have installed one ball bearing into frame side of the motor in my 39221. Thanks for video! ThumpUp No bad running = jerking at all. These good old C-Sinus locos are great runners.

Cheers,
Janne

Hello Janne,
is it a big difference when changing the plastic bearing with a ball bearing? I mean, is it worth because of the risk to damage the C-Sinus motor? I have a bit respect because of this thin flat electric plastic cable.

I would have two candidates, the E94 and the E19.

Hi Moritz,

Not really a big difference between a ball bearing and a plastic bearing like there is between DCM motor cover with ball bearing vs. without. As it's possible to install ball bearing anyway to all C-Sinus locos frame side I have installed one to every C-Sinus loco I have. I have done this without any problems or damage to all my eight C-Sinus locos so far. I will do this also to one 39190 E19 again (my third one) as soon as I get it here. I will change a different DB BR 118 body to it to get a perfectly smooth and silent running loco vs. normal 5 pole DCM.
