What is peoples opinion of the last couple of Marklin Wallpaper pictures?

I don't like them - they are like the new catalogue pictures where the model appears to be photographed on a highly reflective white surface. Previously the wallpaper pictures were photographed on a diorama, which made a nice wallpaper picture instead of the sterile photos of the December and January pictures.

The past wallpaper pictures also appeared elsewhere, so it wasn't as though any extra effort had gone into producing them.

I guess my work desktop is going to be wearing a picture of Nigels layout for quite a while ... Drool

Not sure if this is the right forum to post in, but couldn't see one for 'complaints about Marklin' Blushing

Hi Alan,

Liking or disliking is subjective - however , how can you "complain" about something that is free and that you are not forced to use ?

The wallpapers are advertising. This advertising works if Märklin fans use the wallpapers and if other people see those wallpapers.
I don't like the pictures from December 2014 and January 2015 (loco on white ground/background). But maybe others prefer it that way?

February 2015 will probably look different again.
