Anyone know if the feedback function of the "Viessmann button panel with feedback" (mod. 5549) work with Marklin/Trix switches? and do the Marklin plugs (old version) fit the sockets on the Viessmann panel and distributors?

best thanks,
Kristjan.

Hi Kristjan,

Welcome to the forum and Happy New Year.

Unfortunately I am not able to answer your question.

I hope someone else on this forum will do.

Cheers

Hello Kristjan and welcome

I cannot answer the first part of your question but the old-version Marklin plugs do fit the sockets on Viessmann products.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to reply and the warm welcome.
I am just starting out in the hobby again since I was a boy.

it's good to know the old style plugs fit the sockets. I'm told the feedback works with roco/fleischmann so I think I'll take the chance and hope it works with my trix/marklin motors.

one more thing, the Marklin boxes are available both blue and white. Is my unterstanding right that the blue boxes are for the old connectors and the white boxes for the new connectors?

best thanks,
Kristján
