Hello,
the Märklin Digital High Efficiency Propulsion Set 60760 (http://www.maerklin.com/en/service/search/details.html?art_nr=60760) is a very cheap solution to convert analog or Delta models with drum collector motor into a Märklin Digital model with a 5-pole high efficiency propulsion.

The included decoder provides only ports for the front and rear head lights (LV/LR). But with a simple modification it is possible to activate on F1 and F2 two additional AUX ports!

The following video shows a before/after comparison of two loco (a V200 and a BR218). For the V200 I used the circuit shown below, to use F1 and F3 for front and rear red lights. Both locos are equipped with one ball bearing in the gear box!
