Decoder coding - attempting to configure to work with 60215

Joined: 12/11/2014(UTC) Posts: 4 Location: NEW HAMPSHIRE		I am attempting to configure solenoid switching with updated 60215 CS2. Coding indicated on 60215 for particular number bears no resemblance to codes in 74460 manual. Not sure whether to use Multi (old or new) or Inst (old or new) (Decoder Type choices). Tried all 10 place codes none work.

Joined: 16/02/2004(UTC) Posts: 15,265 Location: DE-NW		Hi, Lin, Welcome to the forum. The Inst (old) codes showing on the CS2 should match the 74460 manual. This setting is for display only and does not affect operation of the decoders. Make sure that "red" and "brown" are not swapped and that the correct address and protocol is set for the decoder.
