Quick question… What does it mean when MS2 displays "Keine Lok" and there is a box flashing mfx and then when you touch any button, the whole thing freezes up?

Left it alone and it has been blinking for 20 minutes now.

Pretty sure it is not the 11th lok thing because there are spaces left in the ten displayed.

Thanks

I know this is a Capt. Obvious question, but have tried turning it off and on again?

I have seen this when the mfx registration goes awry. A restart usually fixes the problem.

I have tried to restart in many different methods… Unplug MS2 from control box, unplug power from control box, unplug power from mains, unplug both control box and MS2. At the moment, I reverted to my trusty old 6021. Why couldn't they just make a 6021 that had more functions and DCC compatibility?

Have you tried powering the control box and MS2 and not connecting it to the layout itself? Just to see how it react.

Alternatively take off any mfx locomotives on the layout and turning the layout on.

Quick questions: Is the loco mfx or mfx+?
Which version does the MS2 have?

Remember that you need 1.83 or higher to operate mfx+ locos without problems.
