Does anyone know if a Marklin D748 Roundhouse will work with a Marklin 7686 Turntable. Looking at getting one on ebay, but I don"t know anything about this roundhouse and the spacing between stalls. So, I don't want to buy it unless the track will match up with roundhouse/turntable.

Hi Ken,

I think you refer to this auction: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/M...&hash=item51c5ec9127

D748 is only a number from the seller, the Märklin numbers for the house were 411B (until 1957) and 7028 (from 1957).

The rails in a 7028 are in an angle of 15° from each other. This is compatible to the newer turntable. See the last picture on this page: http://www.wedero.de/mae...hoer/07686/07686_m_m.htm
The rail connections at the turntable are for K-track, the door - mechanism of the shed needs M-track. There are also clamps inside the shed to hold the rails, so you cannot replace them easily with K-rails. So need at least to make some adapter-pieces to connect M-tracks to the turntable.

Regards

Markus
