Howdy!

After 2 moves and having my collection in storage I am beginning to unbox and I find there are LOTS of locomotives whose classic "bicycle logo boxes" have gone missing or degraded beyond repair.

About 10 years ago someone posted a graphic and general templates that could be printed on paper, glued to cardboard, and folded to make a new, classic-style box.

I've searched, but can't find anything like it.

Would any of y'all happen to have that thread archived, or at the very least a copy of the image?

Many thanks in advance!
~John

There are a number of empty boxes, original or reproduction, that are listed on ebay.de daily.
If you suspect that it may be a reproduction, it probably is.

There are also new boxes called AU-boxes made by German company Auhagen which can be used to store models.

There's a previous thread discussing this topic - https://www.marklin-user...factures.aspx#post391488

Check out the link in that thread to the 3Rotaie site where there is a link to an article on how to make your own replica 1950's style boxes.

Thank you, BigDaddyNZ!

The linked site is exactly the one I remembered.... but I would have sworn it was posted in the threads. Either way, bookmarked!

Thank you, again, for the detective work.

Yes, I had exactly the same experience a few weeks ago, but eventually found it on the 3Rotaie site. When you asked, I knew straight away what you were looking for.
