I'm not actually fluent in German and was wondering if someone could translate this conversation for me.

Hi Fred,

This is really hard to understand, but I'm pretty sure your engine is not going to another town. The announcement is about a shunting manoeuvre at a large yard. A locomotive with three cars is supposed to go from track 105 to track 687 via tracks 10 and 15, but I'm not sure if I got the numbers right, and there are several words I can't identify.

I like Märklin items produced in the 1960s or early '70s, but also digital locos & current rolling stock.

Yes, difficult to understand. Sounds like the numbers Mark listed above. At least the two gentlemen recorded agree with each other.
