Yes. The new symbol for three-pole motors, five-pole motors, and motors with bell-shaped armatures.

Nine stars, zero meaning.

Yes, the symbol just means high efficiency propulsion.

That's a great set, isn't it? Both locos are of the newer toolings, which is unusual for a starter set, and a Br03 and Br41 in the same set is great! You get the CS2 in the latest version and the ability to control both locos with Cab view. ThumpUp

Pity I can't afford it!

Hi!

Again, the symbols means nothing...

Lucky we (i) can still watch locomotive's spare parts ( a trustfull way (for now!!!...) to see what's inside the locomotives... )

Great set, 29950 ( until i could see the picture??)...

But of course, two poor locomotives motors (br03;br41); wich probabily sold nothing last year...

I did (still do!) like so much that br41... But the br45 was enough to me!!!

As far as I can see all locos that had the motor symbol with five stars now have the new motor symbol with nine stars. Including the locos that are known to have three-pole motors (BR 94.5 &c.).

Won't be the first time they have done this, happened with some G1 items a few years back, the V200 and associated coaches IIRC.
