I agree with Cookee's comments in the next post. This is after all an English speaking forum. If you are going to post in Spanish or another language, please do us all the courtesy of at least posting a translation. Thankyou. /BDNZ

Macer, no offence, but English please, or at the minimum a reasonable translation. Wink

I tried to use Google translate but it's incomprehensible. PM (private message) is probably better for chat like this.

Regards

Steve

GOOGLE TRANSLATE:

How is Carioca , alright

Cual scale you use . yo tengo HO .

very fought

??????????????????????????

It got better results with some playing around

Google detects Portugese. But if I manually specify Spanish the result is better. But I had to use Google, Babelfish & Bing to get confirmation.

"How is Carioca, all good ?? (I also get... "Since Native of Rio de Janeiro walks, everything well")

Which scale do you use?, I use HO.

** None of them can handle "Muito brigado" but I suspect something like Best regards / Many thanks ??

So you can see the problems of not providing the translation yourself. LOL LOL

There are a few things on Märklin's websites that need updating.

Here's a page that tells to install the "current" Flash Player Version 6.0 to see Flash movies:
http://www.maerklin.com/en/products.html
I have the "outdated" Flash Player 14.0 and cannot see any Flash movies. Bad luck for me. Where can I find Version 6.0?

This page explains that the symbol "N" in the product database indicates 2005 new items and that "mfx" can control 9 functions:
http://www.maerklin.de/e...ten.html?sCountryCode=en

Märklin Inc. celebrates "140 Years of Märklin" (at a few places they changed 140 to 150):
http://www.marklin.com/about/about2.html

A post on Stummi's Forum reads that Florian Sieber said in an interview that they would address internationalization. So I presume web content, English CS2 UI, and English manuals will be improved soon.

I'm bored of writing to Märklin coz usually nothing changes and the errors stay for many moons. Any volunteers who will inform Mother M?
Regards
Tom

It seems the news on maerklin.at have not been updated since 2010:

News topics: Jolanda, Circus Mondolino, Insolvency ...

Hi all,

For news, I can certainly recommend the Dutch Märklin website (www.marklin.nl), which sees very regular updates. With some fiddling, a Google translation to English should not be too cumbersome. I think this link should do the trick: https://translate.google...p;edit-text=&act=url

Have fun!

Hi!
On maerklin.de they provide a special page for the IMA at Cologne:
http://www.maerklin.de/de/service/erlebnis/veranstaltungen/ima_koeln.html

It's a pity it wasn't updated since 2010 ...

The person responsible for the upkeep of that page probably lost his job!

Are Märklin reading here?
This product page now uses the current Flash Player (meanwhile version 17).

At least one Märklin site still insists on getting Flash Player 6.0, so they are not yet through with the list given in this thread ...
