Hi guys!

Last week i got a Br 185 from Trix (not the "hobby" one) together with a 60942 Märklin Mld decoder to try.

And I'm having some trouble getting the loco to run properly in DCC mode.

At the moment I run the loco with the motor-preset in cv50 set to 3. Then it runs fine most of the time. But when setting off, it does so with a jolt and with a quite high "lowest" speed. I can't go any lower than 5 in cv2. Go lower and it starts to run uneven.

So, I try changing the cv54 and 55. But when I do, the slightest change of any of the two values lead to poor performance.

Does anyone here have experience with these decoders together with this type of loco? Maybe you have some cv's to share?

I've seen some impressive running locos using these decoders, but they seem pretty difficult to set up.
