would like to know if these are available in analogue or are they only made in Digital, seem to recall having seen one somewhere that ran on delta or analogue and if they are available in analogue then i might see if i can find one.

This model is analogue.

So far Märklin sold all Z gauge models only in analogue versions.

H0 versions however were all either Delta or Digital, but will also operate in analogue mode.

If it's digital then it will run on Delta, you just need to set the decoder to one of the four available addresses.

Digital and Delta locos will behave perfectly on analog, so long as you have one of the white transformers rather than an old blue one with an unpredictable reversing pulse voltage. You may need to set all the DIP switches on the decoder to "off" with some Delta locos.
