Hi everyone,

I received a 34231 Wismar railbus I bought second hand and it did not bring the manual. I've looked in Marklin's database and it does not list a manual for this unit.

If you have a scan of it could you please post it or send it to me?

Thanks in advance,

Ray

Thanks Francisco! I really appreciate your going to all this trouble.

The railbus came set for analogue operation, so I need to open it up and change the settings to Delta/Digital. I wasn't sure how to get the body off and I was scared I would break something if I tried to force it.

Update:

I had a go before work and managed to get the body off. I won't try that again in a hurry! It's one of these where you have to gently pry the sides apart and then the chassis falls away (in theory!). Unfortunately it took rather more force than I liked!

Anyway, to cut a long story short I managed to get the body off eventually and change the DIP switches to a Delta address. I chose 60 as that is the address pre-stored in the MS2 for this model.

I gave it a quick run on the layout just to make sure it worked in digital. I had already tested it in analogue. The little railbus ran well, for a Delta, if not terribly fast, but this is probably prototypical anyway.

This evening I will give it a quick service and run it for a while. If I have time I'll take a couple of photos.
