Hi!
Has anyone tried to weathering Märklins K tracks,by "blacken-it" on the rail!?
K tracks have stainless steel and i wonder how does compare with chemical process with it...?
A-west have this subject.
Micro engineering also too have this.

I've wondered the same thing, but for catenary wire! If anyone has experience let us know :)

I think that to blacken it the rails, you should try the touch up solutions used for bluing stainless steel handguns, they are easy to find at any guns and ammo store. I am not interested myself but I know how this products works, and realize they could provide a nice finish as you are looking for.
