I was trying to get the MS2 to accept a locomotive out of the database. It kept coming back with "Keine Lok" and would only allow me to control the train after I had detected it again. Some times, it would detect it as the mfx name assigned to it and other times it came back with DCC-3 (X). The train (LSM Gottardo) has an ESU decoder and is supposed to be mfx capable

Any ideas why it was doing this?

Regards

Maybe same problem as discussed here:

Which firmware does your MS2 have?
