My BR610 (the so-called pendolino) worked just fine till I got my new Central Station. Now I can have the front/rear lights on OR the internal lighting, but not both. If I do switch both on, the train simply stops. Obviously, the light bulbs draw too much current. On various German websites I have found wonderful solutions, all involving small PCBs or strips with LEDs and the appropriate resistors. Various small German firms sell those things for very reasonable prices. But they don't ship outside the European Union. Does anybody have any ideas where to find them in the US or Canada?

Hi Karl,

Marklin make a couple of interior lighting sets for coaches that would help you.

The 73400 has standard LEDs and the 73401 has white LEDs. You can get these from your usual Marklin dealer.

Hope this helps.

Yes, I did see it, and that is where I got the inspiration. Can you tell me which strips you used, and who the vendor is? Thanks!

The warm-white LED stripes are these:
http://www.amazon.de/Ram...TF8&m=A2OIU67XHWXCXE

and the cold-white are not available right now, but You can use this one with 120 LED/m instead of 60LED/m: http://www.amazon.de/Ram...mp;keywords=5m+wei%C3%9F

On amazon.com for US I found similar items:

warm-white: https://www.amazon.com/L...ywords=5m+led+warm-white

cold-white: https://www.amazon.com/E...mp;keywords=5m+led+white
