Cool

Yesterday I had the great pleasure to visit Janne75, his wife and his 3 sons in their beautiful home in Finland.

Unfortunately I only had time to stay for a few hours; but we had a very good talk about Märklin and especially 1-gauge trains and tracks.

I can tell you that Janne is very friendly and very passionate about Märklin and his wife makes a very good pizza ThumpUp

Janne and me in his train room:

Janne75 and Purellum

Per.

Cool

Hi Per, all,

It was a pleasure to meet you and talk with you. You are a true Märklin 1 gauge guru ThumpUp . Now I have more than enough Märklin 1 tracks... without any shipping costs as you brought them to my home RollEyes . I got many "extra" tracks and other stuff. I bought some tracks as used, but got new ones from you and so on. You are a very kind person and I'm glad I met you.

Have a nice time here in Finland. We are glad you liked the pizza Smile .

Regards,
Janne

Thanks Marco,

It would be totally impossible for us to understand our own languages, so it is best to speak English BigGrin . I can speak a little Swedish, but Danish is completely different. Finnish is very strange language if you have heard it before Wink . Per can speak very good English, but for me it is more difficult. I am learning English speaking so maybe later it will be better.

Hi Ak,

Yes it is and this makes me want to try to stay fit. So it is good to have some running training. If I later will "grow up" and get heavier I hope I have then good back and knees to go under this 105 cm height layout to access my CS2 BigGrin .

This is what the forum is really about - bringing people together and get to know eachother also in real life sometimes... Smile
The concept has been proven in many countries - suddenly you know you are not alone in your neighbourhood... BigGrin
I can mention Sweden, Australia, South Africa, UK, USA and more as examples of "neighbours" in the same town who
would not have known eachother without the forum...

I finally met (long-time member) Per in Copenhagen some month ago and it was very nice indeed,
so I can imagine that Janne and Per had a really great time together...

Hi Juhan,

We have to thank you for making this all possible ThumpUp . Without you and this World's best Märklin forum we would not have ever met with Per. And I could not ever afford to buy so much Märklin 1 tracks as his prices were very fair Wink .

Janne
