That's a great car, Geoff.

I actually think most of the paint is original. Only the springs and couplers look like they are from Ritter, and maybe some of the gold highlights were touched up. This version is later because of the couplers, maybe 1939 or 1940.

Here is mine from 1937 I believe:

The paintwork looks to good to be true. If its so perfect I wonder where the box is...The couplings if genuine are from 1939 I believe.
Having said all that I wish I could afford it!

Yes it is hard to say if original , there are some superb restorers out there who can make these coaches look old.
