Greetings all,

With Vollmer closing and after talking to 2 of my main suppliers I decided to bite the bullet and grab what I can before its too late. Crying

I'm not sure of the overall situation but apparently the bulk of their inventory is sold out to the dealers (in Oz) I go through. They have had to start going to Ebay UK and DE to get stock.

So in my effort to get some history before its all gone I lashed out yesterday on the following; Sad to say they have been on my wish list for years. Blushing

VOLLMER HO 5738 SIGNAL BOX
VOLLMER HO 3760 TOWN HALL ThumpUp ThumpUp ThumpUp Wub
VOLLMER HO 3765 POST OFFICE ThumpUp ThumpUp
VOLLMER HO 3770 APARTMENT BUILDING & COFFEE HOUSE
VOLLMER HO 3773 APARTMENT BUILDING / PUBLIC RECORDS OFFICE

I've got to try and find the 4 track Signal box as a priory but after that I'm going to try and buy a couple more every couple of weeks.

EDIT:

Just found 1 and only 2 sellers with them,

VOLLMER H0 5735 SIGNAL BOX Stuttgart - 84.16 delivered but worth it BigGrin

Are any of you grabbing what you can or those kits you have been putting of purchasing Confused
Sad when its cheaper to buy a new 29640 starter set from Germany than a CS2 on its own in Oz, welcome to the joys of Marklin down under .

I'm probably looking to get a 5758 6 stall roundhouse for our club layout (I already have 2 of these for my layout). I got my Baden Baden and Moritzburg stations some time ago.

I haven't seen one for ages but was lucky enough to get one last year locally, well in Oz. $120 sticks in my mind + P&H.

Still in the shrink wrap.
