Marklin often release a specific brochure for new items, particularly if there is something unique about it, I have several of them for various different items and they are usually a more detailed version of the info that appears in the catalogue.

Does anyone know if one was released for the 39970 (39971 & 39972) models?

I'd love a scan please, English preferred but Deutsche or other tongues absolutely fine as well Flapper

Sometimes it's a simple single-page (double-sided), others are several pages folded but they are ONLY for the item mentioned, rather than covering several items.

Here are some examples of the type of thing I mean....

And as a side-topic, personally I find items like this highly collectible and often very short-lived; a library/archive of all of these individual announcement sheets would be fantastic - Juhan/esteemed Webmaster Offline , how could we host them for all to upload & access? Happy to kick it off with mine ThumpUp

I think there was and that I have it but to find it is completely different story. If I find it I'll let you know.

Hi Alex, that would be great thanks - I keep all my stuff in various folders, the downside to that is that my 'library' is growing and when I have to move it around it's a real mission. On top of that, the folders quickly get very heavy and bulky and if you try to put too much into one they end up a mess.

On the upside, I can usually find something very quickly, particularly when I started filing items like this by their category & printing codes and keeping a list in a spreadsheet. Sure it's a little extra work but it's helped me quickly assist others on this forum and I figure if I am going to go to the trouble of hanging on to something, I might as well save myself some grief and record what it is and more importantly WHERE it is.

Much of my material is also scanned and I'm seriously wondering do I need to keep all this actual printed matter??

Of course the hoarder in me can't let go, but the practical side of me, sick of storing and moving stuff I rarely refer to is strongly yelling "ENOUGH ALREADY - LET IT GO!!" Crying

If you find it, I shall be most grateful. I managed to score one at a good price after months of searching and hopefully will receive it in a few days so of course I want to accumulate all the info I can in anticipation.

Thanks again

Steve

Hi Steve, I have been going through the accessible printed stuff without luck. I have quite a lot that may not be categorized library style but it is still findable without great effort. I think despite being almost rutless getting rid of things there is still more coming than going. So I am still a borderline hoarder. Marklin has not made it easier with bigger catalogues which now I am starting to skip sometimes. I prefer hardcopies rather than a computer file as I am too disorganized to keep them safely.

I am quite sure I have such leaflet, I'll keep it in mind because right now I am searching for some boxes I have misplaced and for that reason there is a lot of dust being stirred at the moment here and elsewhere thus giving you a better chance.

I can't do the Märklin one, but I can do the Trix version. Smile

I will be happy to scan it for you, "so that you can get high up"... Laugh

Brilliant, that would be fantastic if you could, either PM me or just upload here and I'll save it.

It confirms if there is a Trix version there will also be a Märklin one as well to hunt down.

Thanks heaps ThumpUp

Hi Steven, I'd be interested in scans of the full items of those if you don't mind? - PM or upload into this topic either way is fine.

Thanks
